Report a scam
Saw or fell for a scam targeting kabayan? Report it here with screenshots. We use reports to warn the community and spot patterns. If you lost money, follow the steps below first.
Scammed? Do this now
- 1Stop sending money and cut contact. Scammers push urgency and ask for "one more" payment. Do not send more. Stop replying and block them.
- 2Call your bank right away if money moved. Ring your bank’s 24/7 fraud line to freeze the transfer, report the fraud, and try a recall. Minutes matter.
- 3Call the Anti-Scam Helpline 1799. Singapore’s 24/7 anti-scam line. They guide you and can help trace the money. In an emergency call 999.
- 4File a police report. Report online at police.gov.sg or at any Neighbourhood Police Centre. Keep your screenshots as evidence.
- 5Install ScamShield. The free ScamShield app blocks scam calls and SMS. Read our guide and set it up today.
- 6Job or recruitment scam? Tell the embassy. For fake OFW job offers, report to the Migrant Workers Office (MWO / DMW) and the Philippine Embassy in Singapore. Never pay a "processing fee" to a fixer.
