About Us

Community reach
We started in 2009 with a simple idea: Filipinos in Singapore needed a place of their own — somewhere to find news that matters to them, share experiences, get practical guidance on life and work in Singapore, and feel a little closer to home.
Over the years, FIS has grown from a small online community into one of the largest and most trusted Filipino community platforms in Singapore — spanning our website, Facebook page and group, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and on-ground events.
In 2017, our work was recognised with the Sulo ng Overseas Filipino — Gawad Sulo Award, an honour we share with every kababayan who has been part of this community.
Community journalism
Singapore news, policy changes, and guides that actually affect Filipinos here — work permits, MOM updates, cost of living, and more.
Content creation
Vlogs, podcasts, and live streams featuring Filipino stories, community events, and voices you won’t find in the mainstream press.
Merch & on-ground activations
We show up in person — at concerts, gatherings, and community events — because online alone isn’t enough.
Product endorsements & partnerships
We work with brands that respect our community and offer real value to Filipinos in Singapore.
Job postings
Helping Filipino talent find opportunities with employers in Singapore.
To help every Filipino in Singapore feel informed, connected, and empowered — whether you're a professional on an Employment Pass, a domestic worker, a student, or a family building a life here. We tell stories that matter, flag news that affects you, and keep the community close.
