The embassy had its busiest year in a decade

This is the year the Philippines chairs ASEAN, and much of that work runs through Singapore. Ambassador Medardo Macaraig opened the National University of Singapore Centre for International Law Distinguished Speakers Series in April and joined President Tharman Shanmugaratnam at the annual diplomatic reception in March.
