Orchard Boulevard (TE13): the nearest station, about a 17-minute walk
On the Thomson-East Coast (brown) line. From Orchard Boulevard station, walk towards Tanglin and up Nassim Road. Give yourself about 17 minutes on foot, more in the midday heat. Google Maps or Citymapper will keep you on the right turns.
Orchard (NS22): a longer walk
Take the North-South (red) line to Orchard. Head toward Tanglin, walk along Orchard Boulevard onto Nassim Road. It is further than Orchard Boulevard station, so take TE13 if you can.
Buses along Napier Road and Tanglin
Services 7, 105, 106, 123 and 174 run along Napier Road; 5, 36B, 143, 502 and 502A pass the Tanglin side. Alight around Tanglin or the Botanic Gardens and walk 5 to 10 minutes. Check the exact stop for your start point in Google Maps.
Drop-off at the gate
Set the destination to "Embassy of the Philippines, 20 Nassim Road." From Orchard it is a short S$8 to S$12 ride. Handy if you carry documents or travel with family.

About the Embassy and this guide
The Philippine Embassy sits at 20 Nassim Road, about a 17-minute walk from Orchard Boulevard MRT (TE13), and opens Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Every visit needs an appointment, and the Embassy uses three booking sites: passport renewals on passport.gov.ph, most consular services on the q4what portal, and OWWA and labor services on the MWO portal. A passport renewal costs S$90.

Passport renewal (adult ePassport)

Fees and how to pay
- Consular counters take cash or PayNow only. No cards, no NETS, no cheques.
- PayNow adds a convenience fee of 0.54 to 0.56 percent.
- MWO and OWWA fees are cash only: S$15 for contract verification, S$36 for OWWA.
- The Embassy gives no refunds, and there is no ATM near the chancery. Bring exact cash.
- Most documents cost S$37.50 each. Expedite adds S$15 per document.
- Expedited documents come out the same day if you lodge before 12 noon (11 AM for Report of Death papers).
The Embassy changes fees without notice. Each service above shows its own fee.

- 3After about 4 to 6 weeks, check if your passport is ready, then book a collection slot. Unclaimed passports are cancelled after six months.
Need it urgently? Book any slot first, then email epassport.sgpe@gmail.com with your confirmation, passport data page, work pass and proof of urgency.
Lost passport? That is a new application: S$262.50 and 6 to 8 weeks, with a police report and affidavit of loss.
The VFS renewal centre closed on 5 July 2026; book only through passport.gov.ph. Checked 4 October 2026 against the Embassy's 2026 Citizens Charter.

Before you go: tips from kababayans
- Book before you go. Seniors, pregnant women, PWDs, solo parents and emergencies can use the walk-in courtesy lane for passport and notarial services.
- Consular counters take PayNow, but MWO fees are cash only and there is no ATM nearby. Bring cash.
- There is a photocopier, but it sometimes breaks. Make every copy before you go.
- Dress smart-casual with closed shoes. Sleeveless tops, sando and see-through tops are not accepted for the passport photo.
- Arrive 15 minutes early. The lobby posts the counter assignments for the day.
- Do not go to VFS for a passport. Its renewal centre at Haw Par Centre closed on 5 July 2026.
- Keep your booking confirmation on your phone or printed. The guard checks it at the gate.
