A 61-year-old Filipino landlord in Singapore has been jailed for three weeks after his tenant's hidden camera caught him in her room with her underwear.

The man, a Singapore permanent resident, entered the room twice while she was overseas in 2024 and performed lewd acts with her undergarments, Shin Min Daily News reported.

He cannot be named. The court imposed a gag order to protect the victim.

Two visits on camera

The woman rented a room in his HDB flat in central Singapore, where he lived with his wife and daughter.

Before flying overseas from 22 July to 19 August 2024, she hid a camera under her bed.

On 3 August 2024, the landlord opened her room with a master key, took underwear from her closet and committed an obscene act.

She moved the camera onto a table on 4 August.

Around 17 August, he entered again after watching pornography and repeated the act, according to the report.

Moved out, then reported

When she came back to Singapore, she looked for a new place at once.

She moved out and lodged a police report in September 2024.

The landlord has been sentenced to three weeks' jail. The reports did not name the charges.
