Jeffrey Giron founded Filipinos in Singapore (filipinos.sg) in 2009 to give the 200,000+ Filipinos living and working in Singapore a place to find news, guides and stories that actually affect their lives here.
He has built the community across the website, Facebook page and group, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube — and on the ground through concerts, gatherings and partnerships with the Philippine Embassy, MWO and Singapore-based Filipino organisations.
In 2017, filipinos.sg was recognised with the Sulo ng Overseas Filipino — Gawad Sulo Award for community service overseas.
