Miss This and You Get Offloaded: The Complete PH-Singapore Travel Checklist Every Filipino Needs in 2026
Ticket and passport are not the whole list. Here is every document you need flying home and flying back, plus a separate checklist for Singapore PR holders.
Immigration officers at NAIA do not care that you have flown this route forty times. Show up without the right paper and you get pulled aside, questioned, or offloaded while everyone else boards. The airline will not wait for you to explain.
The list is longer than most kababayan think, and it runs on two separate clocks depending on which direction you're flying. Save this before your next trip.
Papuntang Pilipinas: flying home
Three things, no more, no less.
Ticket. Boarding pass or e-ticket, on your phone or printed. Airline check-in asks for it first.
Passport. Valid, name matching your ticket.
eTravel arrival registration. Free, mandatory, done at etravel.gov.ph or the eGovPH app. The window opens 72 hours (3 days) before you land in the Philippines, and not a minute earlier. Registration takes under ten minutes and gives you a QR code for immigration.
That third one trips up more people than you'd expect. Register too early and the system rejects you. Register the day of, cutting it close at the airport, and you're doing it on spotty airport wifi with a boarding call in the background. Do it the moment the window opens.
Pabalik sa Singapore: flying back for work
This is where the list grows, and where most offloading stories start.
Ticket and passport, same as above.
eTravel departure registration. Yes, a second eTravel form, separate from the arrival one. Same 72-hour window, but this one clears you to exit the Philippines. Filipinos who registered only once, thinking one eTravel covers both directions, have been stopped at the gate for this.
Work Permit or Employment Pass, physical card or IPA. Your actual proof you have a job to go back to.
OFW Travel Pass, the digital exit clearance that replaced the paper OEC. If you are a balik-manggagawa (same employer, same job, same country as your last contract), set this up through the eGovPH app under DMW, Balik Manggagawa, Travel Pass. It is valid for 90 days and it is the document Bureau of Immigration checks before letting OFWs leave. No valid Travel Pass or OEC, no boarding. If you are on a new contract or a new employer, your process runs through DMW or your POLO differently. Check with them directly rather than assume.
A printed copy of your verified employment contract. Not required every time, but immigration officers ask for it when something about your profile raises a flag. Keep it in your bag, not buried in an email.
SG Arrival Card. A separate system, registered through the ICA's SG Arrival e-Service or the MyICA app. Same 3-day window rule, but it counts down to your Singapore landing, not your Philippine departure.
Two countries, two 72-hour windows, running on different clocks pointed at different dates. That is the part that catches people. You can do everything right for the Philippines and still land in Singapore without a valid arrival card because you registered on the wrong day.
May Singapore PR ka na? Different list
If you already hold Singapore Permanent Residence, some of the above does not apply to you, and a new item does.
Passport and ticket, still non-negotiable.
Singapore PR card, still called the Blue IC.
A valid Re-Entry Permit (REP). This is what protects your PR status while you are overseas, not your work pass. Under rules effective 1 December 2025, a PR who leaves Singapore without a valid REP has 180 days to apply for one before losing PR status outright. Check your REP expiry before you book the flight, not after you land in Manila. ICA recommends renewing at least two months before it lapses.
PH eTravel arrival, same 72-hour rule as everyone else flying into the Philippines.
SG Arrival Card, same 3-day rule for your return to Singapore.
No OEC, no OFW Travel Pass. That document is for workers registered with DMW as deployed OFWs, not for permanent residents. If you are unsure whether your specific work setup still counts as OFW status, ask your local POLO or DMW office before you fly. Do not guess.

Set a phone reminder for 72 hours before each leg, one for the Philippines side and a separate one for Singapore, because the countdown does not run on the same clock.
