Where Filipinos Actually Gather in Singapore (Beyond Lucky Plaza), 2026
Orchard's Lucky Plaza is the icon, pero may iba pang spots na sulit. Westgate, Bedok Mall, City Plaza, JEM, Cuppage Plaza, FAST events, eto ang full kababayan map.
810 Geylang Road. Equivalent to Lucky Plaza for kababayan na east side. Filipino sari-sari, food stalls, money remittance, hair salons.
3. Far East Plaza (Orchard): second-floor Filipino aisle
Adjacent to Lucky Plaza, has Filipino food stalls and remittance counters less crowded than LP. Good "decompress" option.
4. Peninsula Plaza (City Hall): Burmese + Filipino crossover
Mostly Burmese, but small Filipino corner with mobile-phone repair, remittance, and the occasional adobo stall.
5. Bedok Mall + Bedok 85 hawker: east-side casual
Many Filipino families do Sunday Mass at Church of the Risen Christ (Toa Payoh) or Holy Family (Katong), then lunch at Bedok 85. Filipino community has grown here.
6. JEM and Westgate (Jurong): western-corridor families
Filipino chains (Jollibee, Tapa King) have outlets here. Lots of Filipino-Singaporean families in Jurong/Boon Lay/Chinese Garden area gather here on weekends.
7. Cuppage Plaza (Somerset): Filipino professional/foodie crowd
Mid-range Filipino restaurants + bars; popular for after-work Friday hangs.
8. FAST/HOME/Aidha Sunday Programs (various)
Skills + community events for FDW kababayan. Real friendships form here.
