Filipino Events in Singapore This September 2026: The Full Lineup

Konting sayaw, konting laban, konting tawa. September dumating, at puno ang kalendaryo.

The Philippine Embassy's community newsletter landed this week with the busiest lineup we've seen in months. Concerts, a country fair, a Grand Slam finalist, government services you can walk right up to. Here's everything worth marking down, kababayan.

The big one: 2026 Philippine Country Fair

Three days, one venue, almost everything on this list rolled into one weekend. From Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September, *SCAPE Playspace on Orchard turns into a small Philippines: a property fair, business and franchising booths, a jobs and opportunities fair, and a full concert stage.

Friday night opens with networking, connections and collaborations from noon to 8PM. Saturday brings September Festival "Sabado Night," a 90s throwback playing the OPM songs you grew up on, running noon to 10PM. Sunday closes it out with Family Day and the Elias J.TV Band & Donekla concert, 9AM to 7PM, laughing hard and dancing harder to close the weekend.

Entry to the fair is free. The Sunday concert is ticketed, and proceeds go toward supporting an indigenous tribe in Pampanga, funding livelihood programs, education and cultural preservation.

Running alongside the fair: the OWWA Serbisyo Caravan, all three days, bringing OWWA's government services to *SCAPE so you don't need a trip home to sort them out.

OPM live, almost every weekend

The "ber" months brought the artists with them.

The Teeth reunite for their Legacy Tour at Foo Chow Hall on 30 August. Dionela brings The Promise Tour to the Capitol Theatre on 2 September. Baybeats Festival at Esplanade puts Typecast onstage Saturday 5 September and Gabba Santiago Sunday 6 September. Wowie De Guzman's Asia tour stops at Aloft by Singapore Marriott on 6 September. SUDS plays Beerfest Asia's The Beach at Sentosa on 13 September, the same day Elias J.TV Band & Donekla close the Country Fair.

Further out: The 70s Superband revives Pinoy rock and soul at Kreta Ayer People's Theatre on 4 October. Lola Amour performs at the Singapore Grand Prix's Esplanade outdoor stage on 11 October. And BINI bring their Signals World Tour to Arena@Expo on 26 October, ticketed through Ticketmaster.

Cheer for Alex Eala

From 21 to 27 September, Filipina tennis sensation Alex Eala competes at the Singapore Tennis Open, a WTA 500 event, at OCBC Arena. If you've been following her run this year, this is your chance to watch her live instead of on a stream at 3AM.

Comedy, culture and community

Alex Calleja and the Comedy Crew bring the laughs to Alliance Française de Singapour on 19 September. Sunday Sayawan Vol. 6 turns the rooftop of 64C Boat Quay into a dance floor on 30 August, courtesy of Sunday.Sayawan and Secret Pals. AIDHA's Unspoken Life Photography Exhibition, at Objectifs from 4 to 6 September, gives migrant women a platform to tell their own stories through the lens.

The 2026 Presidential Filipinovation Awards, run by the National Innovation Council, hold their national pitching round and awarding ceremony on 2 and 3 September, recognizing Filipino innovation wherever it's built.

For the paperwork side of things

Before any of the fun starts, there's BOC Connect Singapore 2026 on 30 August at Novotel Singapore on Stevens. It's a dialogue between the Bureau of Customs' Balikbayan Action Centre and Filipino community leaders here, focused on strengthening balikbayan box services for overseas Filipinos. If you've ever had a box held up or overcharged, this is where those complaints get heard.
