SUD (Philippines) sit on the Sunday bill at Beerfest Asia's 2026 edition, the only Filipino act across three days and thirty listed performances. For a festival built on Singapore house bands, Korean DJs and 90s tribute sets, that one line is worth a trip to Sentosa.
Who SUD are, for anyone who needs the intro
SUD, said "sood," formed in Metro Manila in 2011. Alternative soul and indie rock, built on soulful vocals, smooth grooves and jazz-leaning saxophone and keys. They came up through the Philippine independent scene before "Sila" broke wide in 2015 and turned into one of the most recognisable modern OPM love songs.
If you have ever fallen into the "SUD Cinematic Universe," you already know the pull: a run of connected music videos about the same relationships, love and longing and the mess in between, that fans have been piecing together for a decade.
For kababayan who grew up on that catalogue, hearing "Sila" live on a beach in Singapore is a specific kind of hiraya.

SUD posted on 24 August that the Sentosa show is built for a mixed crowd. In their words: "english set for our english speakers so come and join us and enjoy our songs in english! we'll be performing your favorite filipino SUD songs as well."
So the colleague who has never heard OPM has nothing to be lost in. The BFA poster bills it as an "exclusive showcase from the Philippines with OPM hits, soulful grooves and live energy."

BFA has not published set times on its lineup page. Promoter Monx Moncayo has said SUD go on around 7PM. Treat that as a guide, not a schedule, and get there with room to spare.

BFA @ The Beach runs 11 to 13 September 2026 at Palawan Green, Sentosa. Beerfest Asia rebuilt the festival this year around a theme it calls Mixtape Memories: 80s, 90s and 2000s music alongside contemporary sets, plus food, craft beer and beachside hospitality. Tiger is the title sponsor.

Friday and Saturday are worth knowing about too. Saturday brings THE EMONIGHTSG LIVE EXPERIENCE to the main stage, a DJ set at 9:30PM followed by a live band at 10:45PM playing My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Linkin Park and All Time Low, with lyrics on screen.

Sunday 13 September is a big day for the community here. The Philippine Country Fair closes at *SCAPE on Orchard with the Elias J.TV Band and Donekla Comedy Duo from 3PM. SUD play Sentosa later the same evening.
